Milind Soman back on TV with Khel Khel Mein

Khel Khel Mein is a sports based reality show that was recently launched on the Indian national channel, Doordarshan. The show was initiated with the idea of generating interest amongst people for sports. This would especially count with the Commonwealth Games round the corner. The show is unique in the sense it is one of the first shows to be based on sports.
The game has an equally interesting format. It will have eight contestants, with four boys and four girls. They will be paired to form four teams. The show will have questions based on thirteen different sports and will have thirteen episodes. None of the teams will be eliminated during the course of the show. The winner will be decided on the basis of the points each team accumulates for their overall performance. The hour long show is being anchored by Milind Soman and Shraddha and actor Pavan Shankar will play the role of a coach.
Apart from the studio, the participants in the show will also be playing on the field. The weekly show will also have guests associated with different sports,both at present as well as past. P. T. Usha, Gopi Chand, Viren Rasquinha, Dhanraj Pillay, Rahul Bose, Suneil Shetty, Milkha Singh, Khazan Singh, Raghavendra Rathore, Rahul Dev, Geet Sethi, Virendra Singh, Veerdhawal Khade,Ritwik Bhatacharya, Saina Nehwal, Bikram Saluja, Rajyavadhan Singh Rathore, Vijendra Singh, and Dara Singh etc. are the names associated as guests with the show.
